Each of the Alouette™ Light Louvers operating systems described below will work in standard, easily accessible windows-in which case, your preference is the deciding factor. Often, however, window location, size and other considerations can narrow your choices.

• BTS (Bar-Tab System)
  The louvers are tilted using a tilt bar and raised using a lift tab. Offers a unique look in the window. Cordless design is ideal for homes with children and pets. Excellent for doors to avoid swinging cords and tassels.
• BCS (Bar-Cord System)
  The louvers are tilted using a tilt bar and raised using a lift cord. The tilt bar retains a shutter look, while the lift cord allows easier access than the lift tab for high or hard-to-reach windows. The tilt and lift controls may be on the same side or on opposite sides.
• CCS (Cord-Cord System)
  The louvers are tilted using a tilt shuttle and raised using a lift cord. The cords can be any length, so this system is perfect for high windows - as well as for center windows with no mounting surface for a tilt bar pivot bracket. The tilt and lift controls must be on opposite sides.
